My name is Lisa. Me and some other dogs used to live bound to a short chain on a terrain that belongs to a monastery. That was no fun life at all but there are worse things that can happen to a dog in Greece. At least we got fed regularly by a nun. But then this nun passed away and we all had to leave. Animal welfarists started to attend to us and all of the sudden I found myself in Germany! At first I didn't even dare lie down in the basket and the cushions that were provided for me. But now I have found something even better: the couch! I can see everything from there and there is always someone coming past to cuddle with me. But even if no-one is coming, I am not too shy to go and find someone to cuddle me. Of course I am house-broken and I walk very well on lead and by now I have already learned to get into a car by myself. Even though I am not exactly young anymore I am physically fit enough to go on extended walks that I highly enjoy after all those years on a chain. And I just love to play with other dogs (getting along well with female and male dogs) while bikers and joggers leave me completely cold. I am not scared of things, maybe just a bit careful because everything is so new for me. I enjoy the company of children and most of all I like men. I am wishing for a home for my hopefully many remaining years . A home with lots of TLC and a home where the people will spend a lot of time with me. |

We are certainly hoping that this small cosmetic flaw will not matter in our search for a new and loving home for Lisa.
