This beautiful young dog that goes by the name of Renia has been hit and injured by a car in Greece.

She was taken in by animal lovers who cared for her and took her to the vet who diagnosed Renia with dislocation of the hip. That’s why Renia was transferred to Germany in order for her to get surgery. From March . Schweda of the Rosenhof clinic in 31167 Hary/ Bockenem and after surgery she will move to a temporary home near Siegen, Germany.

We are looking for a permanent home for this medium size (15 kilos) lovely dog who just loves her humans. Her new home should be on ground level. And because the psyche is also a major factor in the healing process, the right domestic environment will make a lot of difference. Renia gets along well with male and female dogs, but until she is fully healed she should be kept as a single dog or at most with a very quiet and/or older dog. Renia is a young dog and will love to be active after the surgery as she will be pain free. However, that would not help the healing process and her movements will need to be restricted during the initial phase.

We would be very happy indeed if someone would offer Renia a new home and the chance of a happy and healthy life.

The expenses of the surgery put quite a strain on our organisation’s finances which is why we are urgently looking for sponsors for Renia. Every little amount counts!
